This bull was our pick out of Greg Golden's 2022 bull sale. Unfortunately he broke his leg during his second breeding season. I was just going to shoot him but didn't in case we wanted to try to get some semen on him. He ended up in our coming 3 yr old cows this spring and we don’t know how many cows he bred but he damn sure bred a few. This guy is a warrior. His mother is an absolutely beautifully made cow with a perfect udder and feet.

0431's sire was a brother-sister mating of the 1100 Black bull we got from Greg Golden. We kept him for this reason, we wanted more of the 1100 Black into some of our bulls and our cows. We used him on heifers for one year and then moved him onto our cows. He is all bull.

The Lund family have been good friends for many years and we've always really liked the Windy 7 line of cattle they raised. Lucky for us, they line bred it and we took the oportunity to grab this bull two years ago (and a couple more this year). We are really excited about these bulls and the calves we've gotten to date. For the last 20 years we've been line breeding Horse Butte 1116 of 3116 with excellent results. We're confident 183 will be an excellent outcross on our 1116 bred cow herd. 6428 is a son of our 4001 bull. He goes back to 1126, HBR Emblem (a half-brother to 6141 through the 3128 cow), and a double bred Appraiser daughter. We kept him to use on our heifers and moved him onto cows. Very consistent calving ease bull. He bred again last year at 9 years of age and still looked good. We've had 88 calves recorded out of this bull to date.

9005 is a flush son out of 4001 and the 7413 cow. We sold several bulls out of this flush in 2020. 9005 was kept for our own use. We really like how this bull have grown out.

This bull has four generations of heifer bulls stacked into his pedigree. We've always liked the 6055 cattle, he is no exception and was kept to continue that line.
